Cut, Colour, Clarity & Carat are the worldwide characteristics used to classify the rarity, quality & value of diamonds. Jeremy Bloomfields only select the very best of all characteristic for their stock.
CUT: When a diamond is cut to good proportions, light will reflect from one facet to another & disperse through the top of the stone. TYPES: Emerald, Heart, Round, Marquise, Oval, Square and Pear.
COLOUR: While most diamonds appear white, many of them display hints of colour barely

discernible to the naked eye. The closer the diamond is to colourless, the rarer & more valuable the stone. GRADES: D, E, F, G, H & I.
CLARITY: A diamonds clarity is determined by the degree to which it is free from naturally occurring inclusions. The fewer inclusions the rarer the stone. GRADES: VVS, VS, SI & I.
CARAT: Carat refers to weight. The size is the most obvious factor of a diamonds value. One Carat is divided into 100 points. But two diamonds of equal size can have different values depending on their other C's.
